The You Matter cards continue to make an important impact. 😊

We had furloughs and layoffs during the early summer months of the pandemic. We’ve brought some people back, but not all, and not all to previous capacity because business is still down.

I recently made some individually packaged treats for my coworkers and included a You Matter card with a personal note on the back mentioning something they do that I’m grateful for.

One of my coworkers responded that the You Matter card meant a lot to him. Being laid off and brought back only on an “on call” basis made him feel like he doesn’t matter that much.  He wanted to let me know the card helped fill a hole he felt.
