Hope you’re taking good care of yourselves to start 2025.

Thanks again for all you did to make the 2024 You Matter Marathon a huge success. We had 10,932 total participants and 50 Ambassador organizations from all 50 states, and 9 countries. It was an amazing year for the You Matter Marathon.

Below are some highlights from the 2024 You Matter Marathon Feedback Survey:

Stories

We received so many stories and comments! Here are some highlights:

• • • I love the expressions on peoples’ faces when I hand them a “You Matter” card, along with the “You Matter” bracelets I make. Sometimes I just slip off my own “You Matter” bracelet and hand them that, along with the card. Most of the time I get a big hug and that makes me feel so good! I especially needed these interactions during the holiday season as I’m really struggling with health issues and some other personal family matters! I love making people happy with the cards.
    • It gives me such joy. I’ve been participating for several years. Now, I often give a card to someone more than once. I handed one to a young man. He immediately thanked me, with you have given me before. He produced it from his wallet. He then said I’ll give this one to someone who needs it. I immediately gave him the whole stack I carry. He thanked me with a big hug. How awesome is that?
    • I’ve been doing this for many years. I feel being a messenger of the words You Matter is one way I can bring light to those who need to know they matter in my small corner of the world.
