The Kindness Corner
In Mineral, Virginia, the opening of a high school garage door marks more than just the end of a class period. It marks a life-changing moment for a local family. For the past eight years, automotive technology students at Louisa County High School have spent their semesters refurbishing donated vehicles to give away to single mothers in need. In partnership with the nonprofit Giving Words, these teenagers aren’t just learning how to fix brakes and change oil. They’re learning the “real-life grit” of making a difference.
