You Matter Moment of the Week
“Here at Jackson Elementary, we love to hand out You Matter cards to not only people in the school but also to complete strangers, students’ grandparents, and other teachers.
Everyday a student comes to me to ask for a ‘You Matter’ card to hand out to someone. Some of our students have made posters with the words ‘You Matter’ on them. The students feel it is important to share this message because it makes people feel important and shows them support.
I believe in You Matter Marathon because these two words could not only make a difference in someone’s life but encourage people and help people get through some really tough times.”
