As we count down to the inaugural 2026 Mattering Summit taking place May 12–14, we’re excited to introduce a few of the remarkable voices who will be part of this global conversation.  Each week leading up to the summit, we’ll highlight a few speakers in this incredible community of experts, advocates, and storytellers who will be leading our sessions so you can learn about their unique perspectives to the practice of human significance.

Each speaker brings research, lived experience, and deep commitment to one essential idea: Helping people feel seen, valued, and connected matters.

Meet a Few of Our Speakers

A leadership coach and founder of Living Kindness, Christine brings over 30 years of experience in higher education leadership and a deeply personal commitment to supporting families navigating complex life challenges. Her work focuses on helping people move from isolation toward connection and is grounded in the belief that healing begins when people know they matter.

Founder of the Dare On™ Experience and host of a top-ranked podcast, Jodi empowers women to move beyond self-doubt and step into what’s next with courage and clarity. Through relatable storytelling and practical mindset tools, she helps people reconnect with possibility, purpose, and joy.

Founder of Dynamic Connections LLC, Mary brings decades of experience helping organizations create workplaces where people feel valued, engaged, and energized. Drawing on research from the Center for Positive Organizations, she translates evidence-based practices into meaningful, everyday actions that strengthen workplace culture.

A licensed psychologist and senior faculty member of the Imago International Training Institute, Dr. Fetterman has spent decades helping individuals and couples build deeper, more conscious relationships. Her work explores how dialogue, emotional awareness, and connection can transform relationships into spaces of healing, growth, and trust.

Founder of The Black Boy Mattering Project and associate professor at the University of Delaware, Dr. Carey’s work centers youth voices and examines how young people understand their own significance. His research helps create environments where youth can more fully imagine their potential and experience a stronger sense of belonging and mattering.

A passionate advocate for kindness and community connection, Sarah shares stories and practices that highlight the transformative power of everyday goodness. Through her work with kindness initiatives and community-building efforts, she reminds us that even the smallest acts can create meaningful ripple effects—and that everyone deserves to feel they matter.

The wisdom and heart these speakers bring to the stage are exactly what the world needs right now, but the conversation is even more powerful when our community grows. You already know how vital this mission is. Help us spark a global awakening by inviting others to join you in the virtual front row. Whether it’s a colleague who leads with heart or a friend who could use a reminder of their own worth, please share the Mattering Summit with them today.
