“Interestingly, last year when I handed cards to people who worked at the food pantry, it was easy to share this message with people I knew pretty well and appreciate. This year I decided to hand them to clients. I was actually intimidated by handing a card to people I really didn’t know well.
When I finally just decided to hand them out, I felt even better than my experience last year. Several of the people teared up and were moved by it. Perhaps coming from a stranger meant more to them.
