Perhaps your attention drifts to your phone or a nearby distraction pulling you away from the person in front of you. Studies show that we only retain about 25-50% of what we hear. Imagine the wealth of understanding and connection we’re missing!

Listening is a powerful and priceless gift. It requires nothing except an open and intentional heart. In a world that often seems transactional, offering someone your undivided attention sends the message “YOU MATTER. Your thoughts and feelings are important.”
