“I was waiting in line at a specialty coffee house. The person in front of me was waiting to give his order while the barista prepared a beverage for the customer that was before him.
When the barista was done, she smiled at the man and was going to make his beverage. I could see his veins popping out of his neck as he let the poor barista know what he thought about her service!
I couldn’t hear what he told her because of the noise of the milk steaming, however, I could see that the tongue lashing left her feeling not so great.
She smiled bravely and then asked me about my order, and that is when the perfect opportunity to share a You Matter card presented itself!
It was awesome to be able to cheer up the barista after her encounter with an angry customer.”
