You Matter Moment of the Week
“Today when checking out at my local grocery store, I noticed one of my containers had broken and was spilling onto the rolling counter. I mentioned it to the clerk so he could stop the roller before the mess slipped under. The lady he was attending to got upset that he took a moment to grab a helper. She told him he should attend to the person he was helping at the moment. She glared at him and walked off.
He mentioned to me that she was upset, and it only takes one person to ruin a day. I immediately pulled out a card from my purse and handed it to him. He said, thank you very much and immediately clipped it to his shirt. The card I gave him made him feel a lot better.”
